Idea for Dark Souls: When you defeat Sif, you should get a hat of Sith's head. It would boost your stamina and defense. Because the wolf is fast and strong. 25 defense. Just an idea...

i hate this boss so much gets a lucky hit when I knock it down to half health and then finishes me off with a quick blow....

Another way with melee is to walk backwards the entire time except for directly after he runs towards you AND swings at the same time. Shortly after that he will swing vertical, so get all up in his face after he runs and swings. Then as he stands on 2 legs for the vertical swing, sidestep right until he finishes it, land 3 hits and get away.

Easy boss. Just stay under him and lock on. Bring a greatshield too. Assuming you beat Pinwheel, use mask of the child. That way you can block all his attacks. With the mask, you can just regen your stamina quickly.

This was the easiest boss for me. Probably because I specialize in blocking with a greatshield and hitting back with a greatsword. Beat him in 1 try, no summons
