He believes in a constitutional republic. Which is what we are. Pure democracy is the theory that 51% of the population can take away the rights from the other 49%. A constitution limits what the government can do.

Corporate taxes are not whats getting passed, just taxing wealthy income tax. Ron Paul wants to get rid of the income tax completey since its not legal and the income tax does not even go to any government programs.

@AzuAtoms I agree that no one should be paying "income" taxes. However, that injustice was done along time ago. If no one pays any taxes, then how do you expect to pay for roads, bridges, rails, etc.? Who is going to regulate the greedy d*cks on Wallstreet and big banks? If I had not paid taxes all of my life then I would not now be able to collect unemployment. I have issues with welfare only because it is not the stop-gap it was intended to be, but has become a way of life for many.

Not sure what you're saying, but this is typical. The 16th Amendment and the Federal Reserve System were both dumped on America in 1913. And I don't know of that executive order but I do know of #11110 in which kennedy authorized the printing of silver certificates and silver dollars, in other words he was making government-printed money to weaken the Private Fed's influence over monetary policy.

lol @ thinking the Fed is deregulated, it's not. Secondly, it's privately owned by largely swayed by Congress (and was created by Congress). Ron Paul wants to have a free market (or close to it) in currency - meaning people can use whatever currency. As long as the seller and buyer agree to transact in a certain unit, they could do so. That being said, Ron Paul wouldn't be able to get rid of the Fed very quickly if at all.
